From
Barbados comes the premiere issue of the first truly Pan-
Caribbean magazine. Nou (we in the variety of French
used from Trinidad to Haiti) has writers and editors in all the
island nations. The editorial process happens via fax and email,
and far-flung contributors cover issues of politics, economics and
culture. By reporting on both local and region-wide stories, Nou,
in its own way, is both an advocate for specific island issues-
and a unifying force for the entire Caribbean.
